STARGAZER - "In the crowd" -CDs(Beat That!)
Ah, pop! Swedish pop has a really high standard as you all know.
And Stargazer is another band that follows in the same line as the others.
Britpop, only faytter and better. It´s often like that now.
The swedes don´t come up with the ideas, they come with the quality.
The title track is a real hit. Quite simply. The second song is a three
chord punk rock pop tune that tickels the ear very nicely. "In My Mouth"
has more of a ploy feeling to it, it´s got britsk tivoli atmosphere,
and when the chorus comes there´s nothing else to do but sway your head
and sing along. "Icecream Man is a ballad complete with a cucumber and
everything. All in all, Stargazer is a very good band, tight, fat,
melodic and with a glimpse in the eye. Very good. Strongly recomended.
