Cregg & Mr Ponytail A real funny place was "29 Newbury".
The first time I was there (Friday and Valentines day), it was a slow bar, cosey like.
I met dozens of people and we had great fun. When the clock turned 2 00 am, the place closed. So the natural question was:
-"Where to now??"
And the answer I got was:
-"Everything closes here at two."
Talk about shock! (not to mention major sulking).

As I'm used to from home, I went out pretty late, and so 2 am the morning the party just started!

(But I must say, I was thinking of this one morning
at 6 30 am when I was headed home from a club here
in Malmö a few weeks after, that it's not really a bad
idea to go out early and get home early..sheesh!)

Sam Adams When I arrived at "29 Newbury" the next evening, the place had totally changed..
Now the people were all dressed up, the bartender with ponytail kissing everyone on the cheek, and lighting everyone's cigarette..
I was asked twice if I wanted coke (probably not as in cola) from friendly people around.

I was sitting by the bar as I always do, and there was this other guy sitting beside me, the only black man I ever saw in there, and we started to talk....

Cregg Cregg was the most hilarious person I met in Boston, and you can say the we..ahem..shared the same interest for men.
And to hear him speak was an adventure:
-"Hey grrrl. like, hello, I mean..you know what I'm saying, I mean like, hello?"
And there was a a lot of high and low fives going on there..
(later on it was more missed high and low fives.)
At about midnight we went out looking for a cab, which is not very easy in Boston, so we could go to this club Cregg kept talking about.
The Buzz When we arrived at "The Buzz" I didn't think of anything strange, and when I ordered a Cuervo shot from a bartender with only a pair of leather pants on, I should have realized.
We danced and had a blast really, when it suddenly striked me:
"Where are the women?"
Ok, ok..so I ended up in a gay-club in Boston, but I must say..I felt pretty safe:)
