What is IGMID?

IGMID Sweden is an interest association of musicians, composers, dancers,
choreographers and others who care deeply about the importance of
collaboration between musicians and dancers involved in the field of dance.

This is a non-profit association attached to neither any political party nor
any trade union.

Would you want to exchange ideas and/or experiences with your colleagues,
take advantage of an opportunity to further your education or simply to find
some inspiration? We are here to help you! Please do not hesitate to use
our Bulletin Board to leave suggestions.

IGMID Sweden's objectives, among others, are:

* to give, in various ways, support to musicians working in dance.

* to strengthen the importance of music in dance education.

*to promote a communicative network between
musicians/composers and dancers/choreographers.

* to inform about and arrange seminars and opportunities for
further education.

* to emphasise, as an International Association, the important
points of interest.

IGMID USA has, for the past ten years, been active via Internet. This
information is available to us, we will summarise it and pass it on to our
members. We shall also try to establish a contact person at your place of work.
