Hail - maybe you can start with giving us a shorter update on the state of things within the band and what you have been up to since the recording of this album?
- During 10 months after the recording we were more or less in a situation that could have led to murder. Paul and his Necroshit Records refused to pay the studio. Always the same fucking lies about their problems and how little money they had at the moment. FUCK THAT!! I can understand that an album release can be like 1-2 months delayed because of all different reasons. But to not be able to pay for the fucking studio in 10 months is under all critisism. Under this period we tried atleast our best to spread the word about the album, we also did some live shows. Then you called me up on a Friday with an offer to release the album. Then the next Monday the studio was paid. You could do something for us in 3 fucking days that Necroshit not could do in 10 fucking months and they are the ones that brags about how "big" and "leading" they are in the scene. It´s a fucking joke!!!!!

Comment: judging by direct experience with said label and judging by the testimonies of 99 % of all past and even some present NECROPOLIS bands who all have been ripped to the bone - we would be very surprised if they aren´t out of business for good in the coming months.

listening to the new album - which has a lot of great guitar-riffing, I´d say your style is something in between Death and Thrash with loads of memorable hooks in there. How would you label your music yourselves? also what are your main influences musically (SLAYER is surely one haha)???
- We simply label ourselves as a Death/Thrash metal act. Most of our influences comes from bands like Slayer, Death, Sadus, Autopsy ect. just stuff that we grow up with. I also listen alot to stuff like Nifelheim, Tormentor, Dark Throne, Deathwitch and old Mayhem. In some ways that stuff also influences us, but it´s not general in the music.

What bands/music do you listen to today?
- I would say the same as always. Sometimes I find new stuff that I enjoy, but often that is only new albums from bands that have been around for sometime. Exept the bands I mention earlier I listen to stuff like Defleshed, Vader, Deicide, King/Fate, Candlemass, Dissection, Misfits/Danzig, Possessed, Ravager,Venom, Bathory, Krisiun, Celtic Frost, old Sepultura, old Metallica, Mortem, Sodom, Pentacle, Sarcofago,the list could go on.

You are from the same small town as MERCILESS. Your sound is a little bit similar, you have the same type of line - up etc, and you have a similar history as well ( since both you and MERCILESS are at your fourth album and you have also released all your albums on different record labels) any thoughts on this? also - do you have some special relationship with them?
IDon´t really have any thoughts about it. Both bands have had the same shit problems with labels ect. When it comes to the music so are there some small similaritis as we share some of the old influences. Other than that I would say that we are pretty different, the type of riffing, drumming and arrangement are pretty unlike eitchother. There is no special relationship between us, not that we hang-out everyday or anything like that. Sometimes we meet at party´s, getting drunk and just talking shit. They are great guy´s though.

Your song titles are fucking brilliant - The Evil remains the same - 13 th disciple - Enter The holocaust - Burn til Death etc. Who writes the lyrics? and are you seriously into these dark subjects?
- Erik writes most of the lyrics. Sometimes Kalle or me contribute with some stuff. I think Kalle did two and a half lyrics to the new album, 13 th disciple, Demons Rape and Blinded by illusions. I did only the first 4 lines on "13th Disciple" and also came up with the title "The Evil Remains the Same". I used to do more lyrics before, but I think I will drop that and only concentrate on the riffing part. The reason why we play this kind of music and write about these dark subjects is because we are attracted to its form. So yez, we take it serious.

if you could get away with killing someone without getting caught for it - who would it be???
- I think it would be to oblivous if I said Paul Thind, haha!! All the fanatic leaders that spreads the words about Christ. Fuck it and Fuck ´em!! The individuals will reign the world!!
