Entries that are normally not changed, at least not by unexperienced users, are assigned default values and kept in separate dialogues, accessible through the Advanced buttons.

By entering the Advanced window, the default values may be altered (Part of Section B in START.DAT): 

 

 




















The upper part of this window holds beach information (Section C in START.DAT). In the lower part, check the appropriate boxes. Depending on which of the structures boxes are checked, the wizard will open the appropriate windows for specifying structures, beach fills, and bypassing operations. 

 

 

















Properties are filled in using spread sheets lay-outs. Depending on what column is active, here the Permeability for a non-diffracting groin (Section D in START.DAT), help text concerning that column is displayed below the spread sheet.
