 An inexpensive astromech droid commonly reffered to as Red, it
allowed R2-D2 to program its motivator to blow up after R2 communicated its orders
from Princess Leia Organa to R5. The motivator malfunction allowed R2-D2 and C-3PO to remain together.
R5-D4 was later repaired and sold to another moisture farm. R5 is a poor navigator but skilled mechanic.
